This piece is a hand-woven image,  created by cutting and slicing photographs into strips and weaving them together to form a new reality of sharp and blurred focus. I aim to capture the frenetic zest of Hong Kong, the unending activity and the nebulous, neon experience of metropolitan life.

I am a big lover of colour but there is something timeless and classic about a Black and White image. I wanted to make a small range of black and white woven images to capture Hong Kong as it is today, whilst evoking a feeling that it could easily be the Hong Kong of yesteryear.
